Research at the Faculty of Theology
From ancient Papyri discovered in the sand of the Egyptian desert to electrode implants for the human brain, from Buddhist monks and African prophetesses over Trinitarian conflicts to the parliament's ethics committee: Research in the field of theology and Religious Studies covers a large scope of themes and methods.
Many important research projects that obtain third-party funding make the Theological faculty one of the best externally funded faculty within the university, as measured by its size. Advanced and doctoral students are able to connect with current research early on and thus have very good career opportunities.
