Marie Jäckel is a research associate at the Theological Faculty, working on the SNSF-funded project 'What are the greening dynamics of religion? A multi-level analysis of religious environmental engagement in Switzerland', led by Prof. Dr. Jens Köhrsen.
She holds a B.A. in social sciences from the Humboldt-University in Berlin and a M.A. in the study of religion and sociology from the University of Zurich. Her research interests are the intertwine of religion and politics, free-evangelical churches, Muslims in Europe and the triangulation with qualitative and quantitative methods.
