Biography:

Adam Hearn is a post doctoral researcher both at the faculty of theology and at the sustainability research group on the TRICOP project. He studied development studies (social anthropology and sociology) at the University of Kent at Canterbury, and completed a Masters in medical anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) London. He completed his PhD in sustainability as part of the SMART BEEjS Horizon2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, Innovative Training Networks (ITN), where his research focused on energy justice issues and positive energy districts. 

Currently Adam Hearn focuses his research on the relationship between religion and sustainability, specifically as part of the SNSF-project  "Are Religions Becoming Green?"

Energy transition, sustainabilty, religion and sustainable developmet, capabilites approach, mixed methods research
