Julia Rhyder receives Lautenschlaeger Award

Dr. Julia Rhyder, a Post-doctoral fellow in the Faculty of Theology, is one of the recipients of the Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise (2021).

Every year, the Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award is given to ten outstanding rising scholars from around the world in fields relating to the study of religion. Julia Rhyder received the award for her first book, Centralizing the Cult: The Holiness Legislation in Leviticus 17–26 (Mohr Siebeck, 2019). The award is accompanied by a cash prize of 3,000 Euro.
