Helge Bezold receives Lautenschlaeger Award
Dr. Helge Bezold, a Post-doctoral fellow in the Faculty of Theology, is one of the recipients of the Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise (2023).
Every year, the Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award is given to ten outstanding rising scholars from around the world in fields relating to the study of religion. Helge Bezold received the award for his book "Ester – Eine Gewaltgeschichte. Die Gewaltdarstellungen in der hebräischen und griechischen Esterüberlieferung". The award is accompanied by a cash prize of 3,000 Euro.
