Pastor Martin Stingelin, President of the Church Council of the Reformed Church of Basel-Landschaft, is awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Theology in Basel
Pastor Martin Stingelin, working at the intersection of the Church and the economy, engaged in ecumenical collaboration both within Switzerland and internationally, promoted interreligious exchange, and engaged in work on behalf of people at the margins of society. In this work, topics such as promoting education, social responsibility, equal opportunity, and integration as well as fighting poverty were among his major concerns.
